Pteryl hepta glutamic acid

Pteryl hepta glutamic acid was formerly known as vitamin B11 and factor S. Since then, it has been discovered to be a form of vitamin B9 (folate), one of five folates necessary for humans, and is now known as ‘chick growth factor’.

It is a component necessary for DNA and RNA synthesis, cell division and development of the foetal nervous system.

Deficiency of pteryl hepta glutamic acid symptoms
