Rhodium is a chemical element with the atomic number 45 and, together with ruthenium, palladium, osmium, iridium, and platinum, forms a group of elements referred to as the platinum group metals (PGM). It is considered a ‘heavy metal’ and the main use of rhodium in industry is as an alloying agent for hardening platinum and palladium.
There have been some studies showing that rhodium, in conjunction with substances in aloe vera and certain other compounds, might have a positive impact on the thymus gland’s function.
The thymus gland is responsible for the production and maturation of T cells which are vital components of the immune system. However, further studies need to be undertaken. If proven correct, this has an incredible healing potential for diseases such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.
