GOLD

Gold is a mineral element with the atomic number 79 and there is about 0.2mg in an average human body. Colloidal gold is a tasteless colloid made from tiny gold particles mixed with water. The ancients believed that colloidal gold can provide extraordinary life spans, cure many diseases and even sharpen their intuition, Edible gold is believed to allow the body to operate close to perfection. Gold is a good electrical conductor and there are many reports which state that gold increases the ability of each cell to conduct better electrical impulses.

Gold is useful in treating arthritis, cancer of the cervix and prostate. It can also improve glandular functions and cognitive function and reduce inflammation of joints.  It has actions are associated with the pineal gland.

Gold is used in dental inlays because it inhibits the growth of bacteria. It does not release any substance to do this but rather only affects microbes when they come into contact with it. Gold nanoparticles are as efficient as other antimicrobials against the Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhi bacteria. Gold nanoparticles reveal good antibacterial activity against the gram positive and negative pathogens which are found in water.
